The flat sandal and the Italian tradition of sandalmaking, an ancient craft coming to the streets of London this spring-summer 2013. Inspired by urban cool style and thoughtfully handcrafted in the traditional way, the Sandal and the Craftsman sandals are handmade start to finish.
Stephen Burke has always taken photos. It was only after creating ‘Proper East’ that he finally found a platform to document his humorous and sometimes surreal view of his beloved east London that has been his home for over 35 years.
Spending summer in the City is a great idea but if you live in our fair city you have factor in our glorious weather. This summer (weather permitting) from the 20th of June onwards, every Thursday & Friday from 5 till 11.30 pm for the next 8 weeks Red Market will once again play host to some of the best street food & cocktails that London has to offer alongside the best DJ’s Shoreditch can muster, but even if it rains we have thought of that too with our brand new undercover seating (right next the DJ booth….!)
